My way of expressing emotions has always been through writing and photography. Water and nature have always been my comfort zone. Once I dreamt of showing the world what my eyes see. Armed with a digicam and my laptop, now I can!

A Picture of Thailand’s Grand Palace

April 19, 2008

Phra Sri Ratana Chedi within Wat Phra Kaeo temple, Bangkok

This is a picture I’ve taken during my travel to Thailand using my p910. Well, this was the same day my digicam malfunctioned. Unfortunately SE p910 only has a VGA camera, which is why the picture is a little blurry.

I couldn’t take a clear picture of the grounds on this day because there was a memorial for the king’s sister at the Grand Palace. If you will look at the grounds, you will have an idea of how the rest of Bangkok looks like. The place is sprawling with temples and tourists from Asia, mostly Filipinos! You will also see a city that has no trash cluttered on the streets, where orchids are free to grow on trees. Our tourist guide said that Bangkok was originally owned by the king’s family but they donated it to the people of Thailand for the development of the country
