Geocaching Anyone?
October 25, 2008I wasn’t supposed to write on my blog today because I needed to make 500 links for a geocaching site. But I just can’t help myself because I am so amazed with the new version of the good old scavenger hunt - geocaching! Basically, this game is about looking for treasures buried in different places AROUND THE WORLD. Yes, you read it right - there are geocachers everywhere!
To play this game, all you need to have is a GPS device and an account with a geocaching network such as geocaching.com and you can already download the coordinates of a “treasure” nearest you. These “treasure” are usually marked with a special tag which enables the GPS device to track it. Cool huh? Unfortunately, here in the Philippines, there’s just one cache and I heard its on top of a house (tehee…). Now I think this is good business.
