Less Than a Month Before Christmas, But Where Am I?
November 27, 2008It’s been a long time since I’ve done this - type directly to my blog. I’m tired and restless, probably because the year is about to end I’m starting to wonder what I’ve done to my life this past year. I read at this blog and all I see is a site I wanted to be mine, but it is no longer me, no longer about what I want, who I am, where I am at. What’s going on? I think really hard and I finally realize the reasons:
1. My heart is found in the lens of my camera. Without my camera and my laptop, I am disabled. My happiness is gone, because I can no longer create.
2. Too much work. Who doesn’t get stressed out with too much work?
3. I’m demotivated, because I don’t know what I want to do, I can’t find my focus. Particularly because I’m moving from one place to another everyday and I am getting too confused.
Guys, help me, give me a little encouragement, I think I need it now.
Visiting New York?
November 18, 2008
There’s no place on earth like New York City. Surely, you’ve heard of that. Famous for its sublime moments, New York is a city like no other. Nowhere will you find America’s best attributes – a diverse cultural heritage combined with style – but here. If you are a first time visitor to New York, you will be delighted with the number of things you can do and attractions to see. You should never miss the Empire State Building, New York’s famous landmark, the Chrysler buildings, the Rockefeller Center and the renowned Times Square. You should also try other world-famous attractions such as the Brooklyn Bridge, Staten Island Ferry and of course, the Statue of Liberty. You’ve never truly experienced New York if you’ve never been to a Broadway show or a museum, so don’t miss the next musical! (more…)

A day in Baguio: Passport services available in Baguio this week!
For my last trip to Thailand, I was fortunate (unfortunate? I’m not so sure) to have been given the chance to arrange
it. It was a little tiring because I had to coordinate with a couple of people and make sure that everyone in our group had the complete requirements.
Unfortunately, there were a couple of people who needed to have their passports renewed. During this time, passport renewal needed a month of processing, especially with the new biometric passports. There weren’t enough machines which could print this kind and most applicants had to wait for a month in order to claim their passports. (more…)
Travel Tips: Clear the Energy in your Hotel Room for a more Comfortable Sleep!
November 10, 2008
I’ve been gone for a week (maybe more, I’m not sure); I went on a holiday with my family. Well, I can’t really say that it was a real vacation because I still worked at night – I had a difficult time sleeping at night, you see, so I had to make use of the time to do something productive. I took the liberty of catching up with work while my daughter slept soundly on our temporary bed.
I know a lot of you have experienced this at least once during travel – feeling a strange vibe when you walk into a room. Personally, what usually happens is that I get to sleep at 7pm (my daughter’s usual sleeping time) and wake up at around midnight. Sometimes I get spooked by strange sounds or by the feeling that someone is watching me. Of course it was Halloween, maybe that contributed to the “terror”. (more…)
