What’s New Baguio?
December 17, 2008
It’s definitely winter here in Baguio – minus the snow of course. Last night, I had trouble sleeping despite the newly bought uber thick comforter. I even wore a bonnet, a thick jacket and socks, but still, the cold is unbearable. As a matter of fact, I didn’t want to get out of bed, or even take a bath, hehehe.. According to PAGASA, the lowest temperature recorded for this season is at 11.8 degrees Celcius and that happened yesterday. It’s all because of the northeasterly windflow, they say.
Anyway, for people who are from UP Baguio, today is the most awaited Oblation Run and Pasik, so if you’re anywhere near, go on and visit! For UP IM students, there will be a party at the IM building. Those who are enrolled in MA SDS, you can join the Christmas party at Camp John Hay on Sunday. Bring a gift worth 150 pesos and you’ll have to pay 200 pesos for the food. (more…)
Merry Christmas Everyone!
December 15, 2008A few days to go and its Christmas time. As you can see, I have not been able to post anything this past few weeks, because I am getting ready to launch a new business. Anyway, more about that next year. So what else is new?
* My daughter’s baptism will be this weekend - lots of preparation, food to cook, etc.
* I’m moving to a new house. Arggh..
* I will be reformatting this blog and I will make it solely for travel. I will be launching other blogs for photography, and health and fitness, and of course self help tips. Watch out for it!
To all of you who have been visiting my blog even though there’s nothing new, thank you. Next year, it will be better, and I will post a lot of stuff which will be more interesting than what I have now. Again, thanks!
