My way of expressing emotions has always been through writing and photography. Water and nature have always been my comfort zone. Once I dreamt of showing the world what my eyes see. Armed with a digicam and my laptop, now I can!

Visiting Myrtle Beach

July 12, 2009

Who wants to visit the #1 family beach in America? I do!

Did you know that there are about 13 million visitors to various Myrtle Beach resorts every year? With 60 miles of sandy white beaches, people of different ages will find something to do here. Unfortunately, one of the challenges you will meet in visiting the city is to find a Myrtle Beach resort which isn’t crowded. Fortunately, the internet features a listing of the best Myrtle Beach Hotels which can provide you with the peace and relaxation you need.

Many of these hotels are located in the beach front, which is pretty convenient, especially if you are traveling with your kids. In just a few minutes’ walk, you can now enjoy the heat of the summer sun and splash around in the clear, blue ocean!

Aside from the wonderful waters of the Atlantic, Myrtle Beach also offers a number of activities and attractions you shouldn’t miss. One of the most popular is the Family Kingdom Amusement Park which features some of the most memorable, adrenaline-pumping rides in the Grand Strand! There are also a number of amusement parks in Myrtle Beach but this is the only one that’s near the sea.

If you like music, then a visit to the Freestyle Music Park is a must. Here you can listen to music from different genres – rock n’ roll, country, reggae, pop, R&B – name it, this music park has it. You can also enjoy several rides, shows and other attraction here.

If you are looking for top class fun and laughter, then Le Grande Cirque at the Palace Theater is the place for you. Here you will find magical acts as well as death-defying stunts that will leave you breathless! No trip to Myrtle Beach is complete without a visit to the Le Grande Cirque!

With the number of things one can do at Myrtle Beach, it surely is a trip worth taking. Come with me and explore the area!
