My way of expressing emotions has always been through writing and photography. Water and nature have always been my comfort zone. Once I dreamt of showing the world what my eyes see. Armed with a digicam and my laptop, now I can!

Camping and History in Gettysburg

August 6, 2009

Yes you love camping and yes you have an RV, so where can you go? Penn is the answer. Pennsylvania has a history attached to its name and if you want your camping experience to a “historical” feel to it then you should absolutely go to Penn. Penn’s camping site is in Gettysburg where the famous battle of Gettysburg during the American Civil war transpired. Today, the place has been turned into a camping ground and is now one of the most famous pennsylvania RV parks and is known as the Gettysburg Battlefield Resort.

You can bring your RV at the camping site and go RV camping Gettysburg all the way through. There so many activities lined up for campers if you wish to be involved in these activities. You will be noticed of the weekly activities upon checking in. You can also choose not to join the activities and explore the place on your own. Some of the things you can do are hiking in the Appalachian Trail, visiting the Soldier’s National Monument where President Abe Lincoln delivered his famous Gettysburg Address or you can wait until nightfall and light up a bonfire.

This sort of experience can be once in a lifetime so make this your chance to get to intensely feel history in Gettysburg. You can bring along the whole family and some friends in your RV and experience a genuine PA RV camping. You will be welcomed by cheerful and helpful staff that will make you feel that you are having the fun of your life.  If you are in for the adventure then you can rely on the camping site to give you one. If you want to relax and unwind, then Gettysburg is also the place to be. You will love your stay in Gettysburg, PA. It will be an experience you will keep not only in your mind but also in your heart.
