The Dream Destination of the Wooden Airplane

I cannot help but smile as a look at a mother and her son in complete awe of the sky and some scattered cirrus clouds. The mother was eagerly pointing her finger at the images of what seemed like enormous elephants while her son (open-mouthed) is snuggling beside her to have a clear view. “Flying for the first time boy?” I asked. The lad gently nodded (eyes wide). I too, started reminiscing while looking at my crumpled airline ticket.

My Bag, My Companion, My Friend
December 8, 2009I am virtually a team member of the new breed of “global trotters”. Like them, I live to travel, to experience the richness of different cultures and traditions around the globe and to appreciate life in its raw form. I have been to a lot of places, traveled by plane, cruised on ships, rode “tricycles” and even had dinner on a floating restaurant. The one odd thing I learned about my travels is the importance of having a reliable luggage. It is in that “bag” where the comfort and the experience will come in. (more…)
